Suspicious Character'I am a lonely 63 year old man just looking for someone to talk to, ages 21-75. You can call me at xxx-xxxx or write at _______'
An add in the newspaper was the best way to find them, of course very few younger women ever called. But that was fine, they never had what I was looking for anyway. However, sometimes, opportunities just fell into your lap.
One sweet old lady I'd met with a few times announced that her grandkids finally wanted to meet me. And it was about time! How could they not notice an elderly man riding up to the house next door on a motorcycle?!
The countryside was pleasant, with a beautiful view of the sunset. And the way everyone waved as I sped by reminded me of my own childhood back on Miller Drive. Quite unlike the city I had grown accustomed to, there if people were waving at you they were either a hooker or a hitchhiker.
Parking my custom framed Harley under the shade of an oak tree, next to the driveway, I braced myself for impact. She stood there waitin
Hell Road No. 7 Ch. 3Even though the idea of the CEO of Kaiba Corp. being not in his office but spending precious hours at the forest in Domino outskirts was strange, most of the employees found it quite logical. In order to make the field cards as realistic as possible there was no better place than the natural surroundings to put it to the test. Of course, parks were an option too but there always were too many by-passers who would stop and stare.
Kaiba narrowed his eyes and looked around. No, it must have been his imagination. Besides, very few species would actually come out in broad daylight. Unaware of a couple of blue eyes fallowing his every movement from a tall tree nearby, Seto stood up and walked back towards his car, leaving all equipment in the middle of some meadow.
Rin licked her lips.
'It's my chance now. He's gone and I could just swing down and grab it! He'd never know what had happened...' the harpy shook her head, 'No, I can't. It's too dangerous, Rin, you might be caught!...
Hell Road No. 7 Ch. 2Kami scowled.
As if Im breaking something every time you disappear she thought bitterly and turned on the plasma TV. It wasnt the first time Bakura said dont wait up and the newly created vampire knew that he probably wouldnt show up for a couple of days. Whatever he was doing during that time she had never bothered to ask.
Though it is kind of interesting now, involuntary starvation was taking its effect and she couldnt stay still for more than a couple of minutes He has to have some blood hidden somewhere here!
'Stupid newly made vampires are always out of control at first, they never listen.' Bakura sighed, knocking on the warehouse door, still trying to avoid Elodie's gaze. Her allure wasn't quite as strong as it would have been to a human, but she was still trying to tempt him. "I heard there was a human that managed to escape your charm."
The succubus scowled, damn the grapevine for twisting such an u
Hell Road no.7 Ch.1"Shallow breaths, that's the key. You don't want to over do it, there's no pressure here."
Kami nodded at his words, inhaling slowly and stopping as soon as the obvious human scent met her nose. Not feeding on the usual jar full of blood Bakura supplied was taking its toll; her fangs extended of their own accord. The girl Bakura had brought in for this experiment took a tentative step back, maybe she wasn't so willing afterall.
"Touch her, without your teeth preferably." 'I would like to keep her donations for a while.'
"No." The dark haired girl mumbled stubbornly. "I'll kill her if I breath anymore."
Bakura rolled his crimson eyes, shoving her into the human who squeaked and flinched. He chuckled at how she practically threw herself across the room. 'She could be as strong and as fast as me if she just applied herself. Something tells me mind reading is going to take a lot of practice.'
'Well, there's a human who has no faith in me, and a bastard vampire that has too
Lead On KXR'Oh no, no no no no!' Ryou's eyes widened in realization; he was toatlly and utterly lost! 'One minute I was right beside the river and now I don't even know which direction is east! I knew it was a bad idea to bring Belle along on the hiking trip!' Then again, he couldn't really leave the new little puppy to tear up everything in his hotel room either, that was sure to cost a fortune.
'But now I've got a perfectly fine room, no dog, no food with me, and it's nearly pitch black out here.' The flashlight he had wasn't doing much good either, the weak beam of light barely lit up the next place safe to put his foot, these woods were notorious for their various, poisonous snakes after all. And it was unlikely the rest of the guided group even noticed his departure.
The British boy sighed, sitting with his back against a tree, at least nothing could sneak up on him while he took a breather. 'I hope Belle isn't snagged on a bush or something, it could be a while befor
Promise Me VXYThe first time she had raised the dead had been a complete accident, she'd just been walking around the graveyard as a child, thinking about how lonely it would be without her grandpa to play peacekeeper with her parents. And then a sick looking zombie had risen from the ground, clawing his way out. Her father whisked her away to the car, but the creature had followed, one of its eyes floating around in the socket and occassionally tripping over other headstones.
The cops had restrianed the oddity and set him aflame once realizing it wasn't completely human. And now Yugi was asking her to make this promise?
"Please Vanessa, if he dies...If he dies you have to revive him." His boyish eyes were bloodshot and puffy from lack of sleep, mostly he'd been wire on coffee for the last 48 hours.
"Yugi...it's not that easy, and a lot of things could go wrong." 'And as an unspoken rule, everything that can go wrong will.'
"Please, I'd do anything if you'd just do this for me." He'd found ou
Bad Day EXMElodie sighed blissfully, there was that euphoric high, lifting her out of the dark place that was every day life. 'Hm maybe I should have kept him around a little while longer. This really is a beautiful condo. Oh well, there's plenty more pretty faces and rock hard six packs where he came from.' The cops would find him sometime, stumped because he was drained of testosterone.
'Of course, everyone blames deaths around here on the normal vampires, but they never think to mention my kind. Even the incubi are known to exist, if only by jealous ex-husbands.' She paused on the way out, pulling on a shirt that didn't even manage to conceal half her bra. 'It is a shame to let this place just rot, have to check out the price for it was it goes up for sale.'
'A full moon, that's no good, now I've got to worry about all kinds of weres showing up.' Sometimes her deadly one night stands seemed like they should go on in the morning, less to worry about in broad daylight
Hiding Out DXT'Ow, dammit dammit dammit!' If she squirmed the bush gave her fur a sharp tug, yet not enough to pull out any hairs. 'Great, now I'm gonna have to hope one of those people that leave out their scraps will brush me.' Yet with one lung forward, she yowled, the fur on her back standing up. An hour went by before anyone so much as looked her way, until finally a boy with strange looking hair stooped down in front of her.
'Oh god, he's going to be one of those evil little bastards that'll tie fireworks to my tail.' Her ears pinned back as she hissed, attempting to crawl away.
"Come here kitty." He said quietly, snapping the rose bush's limb to free her. "Hm, looks like I'll have to clip some fur here."
'Like hell you are.' She hissed at the idea, trying to get across how bad of an idea that was. 'I'd rather be a cat with a rose bush growing on my back.'
"Hey, I don't like the idea either 'cause you'll probably rip me apart, but it's gotta be done." As care
