No Regrets Ch. 10 'Others? How many others are you going to kill?!' But she kept quiet, not wanting that metalic weapon dragged across her throat. 'How do they all do it? Does it not even bother them that they murder other human beings? I don't think I could do it!'
The two ran through a large encampment of tents, mostly small, but one in the middle was a large rectangle, a slightly smaller one was on the outskirt of the apparent village. Most were dark, few had the shadows of people on the wall doing various activities.
"Where are we going?" She hissed in a whisper, partly not to draw attention and because she was tired of running by the time they were i
No Regrets Ch. 9 Sandy wearily flutered her eyes open, trying to focus her vision and stop seeing two of everything. 'What happened?' She wondered numbly, feeling a throbbing in her head. She reached a hand up, and immediately regretted it. Blood has stained her hair and matted it against her head. A small bit was still trickling out off a wide gash. 'I'd probably need stitches for this!'
She rolled onto her stomach, notincing for the first time how lumpy the floor was. It was a poor man's floor, of sand. But atleast it was cool to her bare arms and partially covered legs. A groan sounding from next to her startled her to her feet and she regretted the sud
No Regrets Ch. 8 Sandy woke up to find Kasumi and Kami watching the others, foronce they were all in the same room.
"Guard duty." Kami said with a long yawn, noticing her confused expression. "But we fell asleep a while ago, and no one will ever know."
"V didn't even have to ask. I think last night put us all on edge."
"Why do you guys listen to her?" She asked, the question had been burning in her thoughts for a while now. 'Most likely fear or something.'
Kami shrugged. "I'm too lazy not to. And she's pretty respectable."
"Respectable." She repeatedly slowly. 'A gang leader's just full of respect!'
"She's actually pretty nice, notice where Farid
No Regrets Ch. 7 Farid yelped and tripped over one of the girl's sleeping forms.
"Ow, watch it!" Kami growled, rolling over to her other side.
"D-Diane! She...she's..." The boy was trembling from head to toe, unable to finish his sentence.
"What about her?" The dark haired girl asked groggily.
"She's dead." Sandy said dryly, unsure of whether or not to cut the girl down. Then again, maybe they had their own way of honoring their fallen members and wouldn't want her disturbing the body.
"What?!" The tomboyish girl sat up, wide awake. "Kasumi, Rin!" She shook her friends until they open their eyes wearily, then left to get the others.
Farid was sti
No Regrets Ch. 6 Sandy woke up in the middle of the night from a pain in her arm. Looking over, she could see something furry swiping furiously at her bandages. "Hey, stop it kitty!" 'I wouldn't take bandages off of your leg!' She sighed and sat up, the others remained peacefully asleep. 'I swear, they're all like logs!' She looked at her some what adopted family in turn. The most she knew about any of them was that they all had a bad past. How impressive was that?!
'Maybe I should just leave in the middle of the night, I don't think they'd miss me. It would mean one less mouth to feed, and it sure would save them bandages! When did I get so freakin' accid
When I'm Gone II There's another world inside of me
That you may never see
There's secrets in this life
That I can't hide
Somewhere in this darkness
There's a light that I can't find
Maybe it's too far away...
Maybe I'm just blind...
Maybe I'm just blind...
'So much for always being here.' Kami thought bitterly as Bakura rode off on his horse.
'Trying to assassinate the pharaoh is going to get you killed!' She tried to say that, but he silenced her with a kiss and instructed some lackies to watch out for her.
"And what am I supposed to do if you die?"
So hold me when I'm here
Right me when I'm wrong
Hold me when I'm scared
